NSP Sunday School
The mission of RCCG New Song Parish Sunday School is to provide excellent Christian education in an environment that combines biblical teaching, studying, and learning with an element of fellowship. It is our desire to help each believer to become a mature disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ. Our purpose is to serve Jesus and His church by providing believers a solid biblical foundation. The local church is God’s primary agency to instruct believers in this present age. It is our purpose then to prepare believers to “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15). This focus on God’s Word will motivate each believer to be “thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:17) and foster a passionate relationship with Jesus (Mark 12:30). The end result is to produce Christian faith working through love in the heart of the believer (Gal 5:6). All lessons will endeavor to make practical applications to the daily Christian life.
NSP Bible Study and Prayer Meeting
Every Wednesday night at 5:00pm the church doors open for a more in-depth time of Bible study. The format we set up lends itself to go much deeper into the Bible and explicit searching of the theological truth. We typically meet for two hours of the teaching of God´s word and praying. We are studying topics that deal with "The Essential Doctrines of Christianity," Check out in the nearest future for our resources page to see some of the charts these studies. Our purpose is to serve the Lord Jesus Christ and His church by providing believers a solid biblical foundation. This education will equip men and women to effectively serve Christ by following Him in an obedient lifestyle and sharing His message of eternal life in Central Hannover, Germany and in the whole world wherever they may be. It is our goal to provide a systematic and coherent understanding of the Bible and theology in order for believers to discern truth from error (1 John 4:1-6) and be equipped for the work of service (Eph. 4:12). The Apostle Paul exhorts us to “walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God” (Colossians 1:10). NSP Evangelism and Missons
Jesus gave us the Great Commission: "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19). Evangelism plays an essential role in the life of our church. We attempt to carry out the command of Jesus by conducting various evangelistic outreaches at our church environments and in the city of Hannover. We will equally be providing opportunity for evangelical events such as a yearly Christmas Carol Sing, Vacation Bible School, and special evangelistic services. In addition to these "events," we advocate various models of evangelism including pulpit evangelism, personal evangelism, and street evangelism. Currently, we are pursuing a mission of building effective Christian soldiers in our Believer´s Bible School (BBS) at our church. Many of us who attend the school are already putting what we learn to practice. If you are willing to join us, please you are welcome. A vital part of RCCG New Song Parish's vision is missions. RCCG International is currently involved in outreaches that meet local, national, and international needs. Thus, we are deeply involved in building missionaries and missions serving in various places in this country and around the world. Our maiden worship services in Gottingen and Kassel cities shall be organized very soon. Just watch out for the details on our web page. Jesus said in Mark 16:15: Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. In Acts 1:8 He also said: But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. These passages compel us to reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. From Genesis through Revelation, Scripture presents missions as the heartbeat of God. Thererfore, RCCG New Song Parish’s Missions Ministry is doing just that by equipping, encouraging, and serving our missionaries and the ones they reach for Christ!
NSP Children´s Ministries
RCCG New Song Parish (NSP) Hannover offers a variety of children's ministries designed to instill biblical principles in your child. During our Sunday School and our Morning Worship Service we offer a comfortable nursery for both infants and toddlers. These precious little ones will be well taken care of by our loving volunteers. We also offer Sunday School classes for all ages. In addition, each summer our church will provide one week of Vacation Bible School (VBS). This program gives kids ages 4-12 an opportunity to learn from the Bible, sing songs, create crafts, play games, and have a great safe time celebrating the glory of God. In the future, we would like to offer more Bible related children's programs, all with the goal to teach and admonish children who are a gift from the Lord (Psalm 127:3).
Sunday School
Every Sunday morning at 10:30am, children meet to study the Word of God through the help of their teachers who are gifted in handling these precious gifts of our God. We offer age targeted children classes that are taught by our gifted teachers. There are also classes for primary and Jr. High school and as well as classes for adults. This is an excellent way to "be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth" This we do with our children (2 Timothy 2:15).
Children's Church
Children´s Church is a paramount focus of RCCG New Song Parish (NSP) Hannover, Germany and we take it seriously because the biblical teaching and impartation in the house of God will enable our children to transform their world. We would deplore all our resources into this crucial ministry where all hands must equally be on desk. Ministering to our children during worship service is Christ centered; while they are precious to Christ as recorded in Luke 18:16 But Jesus called the children to Him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these” We sincerely welcome your children and let them be part of what the Lord is doing right now. Parents pick up their children following the service, knowing that they have been taught age-appropriate and creative lessons from the Bible.
NSP Worship Ministry
The importance of music in the Bible is indicated by the fact that God’s creative and redemptive activities are accompanied and celebrated by music. At creation we are told that “the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy” (Job38:7). At the incarnation, the heavenly choir sang: “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom he is pleased!” (Luke 2:14). At the final consummation of redemption, the great multitude of the redeemed will sing: “Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and exalt and give him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready; it was granted her to be clothed with the fine linen, bright and pure” (Rev 19:6-8). In our Sunday morning worship time, we sing enthusiastically and joyfully with/from our heart to a loving Father who invites us to worship Him and we do equally respond in a biblical manner. Therefore, when we worship together, the grace of God is applied to the believer’s heart (Col 3:16). Without divine love and grace in the heart, singing becomes as a sounding brass and a tinkling cymbal (1 Cor 13:1). The person who has experienced the transforming power of God’s grace (Eph 4:24), can testify that the Lord has “put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God” (Ps 40:3). The glory of God is our highest goal in worship! (1 Cor. 10:31) Therefore, everything we do is dedicated for this purpose. We intend our worship to magnify Almighty God through instruments and singing. We have a blended style of worship that includes mostly contemporary choruses. Currently the instruments we use to accentuate the worship are: Electronic keyboard, piano, and tambourine and other instruments in view are guitar, drums, bongos, trumpet, saxophone, clarinet, flute, harmonica and organ and the family of strings. Lyrics are very important, so we chose worship songs that biblically and theologically sound and do not just attract only emotions and intellect. Healthy lyrics help teach and reinforce healthy theology which is the foundation of Christianity. Our Minstrel team practices at different times of the week depending on schedules and other factors. If you sing or play an instrument we welcome you to come and get involved. We are always open to new comers with God given talent to participate in the worship of the one true God who has revealed Himself in Jesus Christ. |
